We had some horrendous wind last Thursday and Friday. Thursday was worse with sustained 20+ mph winds most of the day. Things calmed just a bit overnight and then revved back up on Friday. Planted one 50' weed barrier of arugula plants and that was just about enough. The wind beats you up and you don't even know it until you're done.
A front blew through Friday night dropping rain and taking the terrible wind with it. We breathed a sigh of relief as we sustained little or no damage to any of the hoophouses, buildings, or garden due to the wind or passing storms. Folks to the west of us weren't as lucky, I guess.
I had a little help in the garden on Friday.
